Women's Volleyball End Victoriously at Tri-Match
The Crusaders Volleyball team headed out to Berkeley, West Virginia to play in a tri-match versus Appalachian Bible College and Rio Grande. The took on the impressive Rio Grande first, and despite a valiant effort, were unable to pull off even a set, and lost the game 0-3. Coming off this tough loss, the Crusaders began a grueling game versus Appalachian Bible. Appalachian Bible began strong, and took the first set. The Lady Crusaders were able to return from this, pulling off a tight 25-23 win. Finally hitting a groove, the team settled in to their game and were able to take the next two sets and match, scores 25-15 and 25-22. Key performances from freshmen Mary Heisler and Johna Fackler carried the Crusaders through the long day.
