Women's Soccer 2025 Schedule Released
Front Royal, VA —The 2025 Christendom Women's Soccer schedule features a balanced 16-match slate, including pivotal road challenges and an exciting stretch of home contests at Crusader Fields. Coming off a national runner-up finish, the Crusaders will face a mix of returning USCAA rivals, emerging regional foes, and a few new faces.
The campaign opens on August 30 as Christendom travels to face PSU Mont Alto, followed by a September 6 trip to PSU New Kensington, a rematch of one of last season's key regular-season tilts. The team returns home on September 13 for its home opener against Bucks County, kicking off a month that includes home dates with Central Penn (Sept. 20) and PSU New Kensington (Oct. 4).
Additional home matchups include Patrick Henry (Oct. 7), Hagerstown (Oct. 9), Johnson & Wales (Oct. 11), Manor (Oct. 18), and Trinity (Oct. 29) to close out the regular season.
The Crusaders will also be tested on the road, with visits to Trinity (Sept. 10), Mary Baldwin (Sept. 24), Central Penn (Oct. 1), Manor (Oct. 24), and Bucks County (Oct. 25) rounding out the away slate.
With a mix of familiar matchups and new opportunities, the 2025 schedule is designed to challenge the Crusaders throughout the fall and prepare them for another deep postseason run.
Season Outlook
After finishing as national runner-up in 2024, the Crusaders enter 2025 with momentum—but also turnover. The graduation of seven senior leaders leaves behind a restructured squad hungry to prove they can not only return to the championship stage, but finish the job.
Anchoring the midfield is Megan Lovar, a 2023 Honorable Mention All-American and First Team All-Conferenceselection, returning after missing most of 2024 due to injury. Her leadership, vision, and presence in the center of the pitch will be central to Christendom's style of play.
Also returning to the pitch for the Crusaders are rising juniors Jules Dejak and Serena Keller. Both were instrumental to the Crusaders' run to the national championship game last year, with Dejak in the midfield and Keller in goal. Keller was an All-ESAC selection for her outstanding play in goal last season.
Also returning are Ava Hudson and Maria Blank, both 2024 USCAA All-Tournament Team selections. Hudson's attacking flair and goal-scoring instincts, paired with Blank's composure and grit, give the team proven quality on both ends of the field.
Maddie Lee, a sophomore midfielder recovering from an ACL tear that sidelined her in 2024, is another name to watch. Fully healthy, her return adds dynamism and creativity to an already talented midfield group.
The incoming freshman class will play a vital role as the Crusaders look to rebuild and reload. The group looks to bring athleticism, technical ability, and a strong soccer IQ, especially in areas left open by graduating seniors.
