Lady Crusaders Open Season With Losses to Cairn University
On a very cold and windy afternoon, the Lady Crusaders took on Cairn University in a double header. The Sophomores stole the show with Margaret Speer, Sofia Skuba, and Rebecca Byrne all having two hits a piece. Byrne also battled the wind and cold and pitched the entire game.

Game 1
On a very cold and windy afternoon, the Lady Crusaders took on Cairn University in a double header. The Sophomores stole the show with Margaret Speer, Sofia Skuba, and Rebecca Byrne all having two hits a piece. Byrne also battled the wind and cold and pitched the entire game.
The Lady Crusaders came up a bit short in the end and allowed Cairn to score 5 runs in the top of the 7 th and lost the game 9-4.
Game 2
In the second game, with flurries in the air, the Lady Crusaders struggled to throw strikes and could not fight their way out of an early deficit, losing the game 20-6. Sophie Adams had 2 hits and Sofia Skuba added a double.
