Cross Country Unveils 2025 Schedules
Front Royal, VA — Christendom College Cross Country has officially released its 2025 schedule, setting the stage for what promises to be a competitive and exciting campaign for both the men's and women's squads. The Crusaders will race across the Mid-Atlantic throughout the fall, culminating with the USCAA National Championship Meet on November 9 at Penn State Fayette.
The season kicks off on August 29 at the Westmoreland County Invitational, giving the team an early opportunity to establish pace and test offseason development. September will feature a trio of familiar invitationals, including the Dutchmen Invitational (Sept. 6) at Lebanon Valley College, the Bridgewater Invitational (Sept. 20), and the Hornet Harrier Invitational (Sept. 27) hosted by Shenandoah University—each offering strong regional competition.
In October, the Crusaders will toe the line at the Pitt Greensburg Fall Classic (Oct. 4) before heading to the Aubrey Shenk Invitational (Oct. 18), hosted by Gettysburg College, which annually draws a deep field of NCAA Division III programs and will serve as a key tune-up heading into Nationals.
The season concludes on November 9, when Christendom returns to the national stage at the USCAA National Championship Meet.
Men's Team Preview
The men return a strong core, highlighted by rising senior and USCAA Second Team All-American Alex Girata, who brings veteran leadership and postseason experience. Sophomore Henry Englehardt is also poised to take a significant step forward after a solid freshman season. The duo will be bolstered by a highly anticipated freshman class expected to add depth and push the team toward a top finish in November.
Women's Team Preview
On the women's side, the team bids farewell to standout Mary Noble, a USCAA Second Team All-American whose presence helped anchor the squad in recent seasons. However, the program remains optimistic as a promising freshman class joins a strong core of returners, setting the stage for an exciting mix of youth and experience. With the right development, the women's team has the tools to make a statement in 2025.
With a balanced schedule, veteran leadership, and fresh talent on both sides, the Crusaders are primed to chase success all the way to the championship line in 2025.
