Rugby 7's Falls in Finals at Peach Cup 7's
Atlanta, GA- Christendom College had a strong showing at the Peach Cup 7's Rugby Tournament. In their first pool game, they defeated Citadel 22-7. Matt Verrengia, Jude Burkett, Chris Santschi, and Charlie Ackla all recorded tries in the win.

In the second pool game, the Crusaders came out victorious once again, beating Wingate 22-12. Ackla, Santschi, Mark Patryn, and Frank Woltering all contributed tries to secure the win.
The Crusaders continued their strong play in the third pool game, defeating Bryant 26-5. Burkett scored two tries, with Ackla and Woltering adding one each to help Christendom dominate their opponent.
In the bracket games, Christendom faced Valdosta State and delivered a dominant performance, winning 33-0. Ackla was the standout, scoring three tries, while Santschi and Will Kolesar each added a try of their own.
In the final, Christendom faced a tough opponent in the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Despite a valiant effort, the Crusaders fell short, losing 19-26. Burkett, Santschi, and Ackla were the try scorers for Christendom, but they couldn't overcome Wisconsin Eau Claire in a hard-fought final.
Overall, Christendom College showed impressive skill and determination throughout the tournament, with strong individual performances and team efforts, but ultimately fell just short of the title.
